Dragons’ Den viewers took to social media to find out if Scrumbles’ owners were still together after Jack Walker turned down a £60,000 offer.

Husband and wife team Jack and Aneisha had appeared on BBC 2’s Dragons’ Den with their dog Smudge to seek investment for their natural pet food company.

Deborah Meadon was the only Dragon who offered funding, but she wanted a 20% cut of their business for £60,000, which was twice what they were prepared to give away.

Jack tried to negotiate for 15%, but when Deborah refused to budge, he turned the offer down. Afterwards, Aneisha said she was expecting him to take the deal, leaving viewers at home to question the state of their marriage, reports The Sun.

One wrote on Twitter: “Are they still together after that…?!”

Another said: “She’s definitely filing for a divorce!”

Another viewer said: “So you can tell us. Did you he end up in the dog house after the pitch for turning down?”

The pair later went on their Twitter account to say their marriage is still intact. They wrote: “Thanks for tuning in folks, it was a tense one #dragonsden but to all those concerned, we’re still together!

“The website’s down from a surge in traffic but you can find us on amazon, ocado and @fetchlovespets.”
