The Nutriment Company (TNC) has further enlarged its European business with the acquisition of Dutch treats supplier Antos.
Headquartered in Zaltbommel in the central Netherlands, the company supplies snacks, bones and chews for dogs and cats on a wholesale basis to the Dutch and international markets, under brands such as Antos, Cerea, Nogaas, PrimaDonna and Chicken D’light.
TNC said that, as well as adding new lines to its treats portfolio, the acquisition will enable the company to use the facility as a strategic hub for distribution of TNC’s wider portfolio of products the Benelux market.
TNC chief executive Anders Kristiansen said the deal provides “instant scale to our treats business in the Benelux region”.
Désirée Steegers, chief executive of Antos, added: “With TNC’s scale and international network, as well as our shared vision for the future, we will be able to increase our impact while remaining true to our heritage.”
