Ancol Pet Products supported Birmingham Dogs Home at its annual Walk in the Park in Walsall arboretum – an event that raised more than £6,300 for the charity.

This is the fifth year that Ancol has supported the event, which features dog walks, tombolas, pet photography, refreshments and a barbeque. Every dog walker that signed up to the walk received Birmingham Dog’s Home bandana and a goody bag at the finish line, Birmingham Dog’s Home information, dog treats, and a bottle of Ancol shampoo.

Simon Lane, director of operations at Ancol Pet Products, said: “A wonderful day was enjoyed by everyone who came and it was great to see so many Ancol staff members turn up and volunteer on the day to help… Many of the dogs on the walk had been rehomed from the home, making the event extra special for their owners and Birmingham Dogs Home staff.”

Ancol Pet Products is currently in a five-year partnership with the dogs’ home, which rescues, reunites and rehomes stray and abandoned dogs in the West Midlands.
