The UK’s virtual pet trade show gets under way today (Tuesday), with visitors and exhibitors from all over the world ‘meeting’ to shop, learn and connect.

Nearly 3,000 visitors have registered to attend the event, which runs from today until Tuesday, March 30, with two ‘live’ days scheduled for today and tomorrow (Wednesday, March 17).

The ‘live’ days enable visitors to chat in real-time to exhibitors and watch, vote for their favourite new products and participate in the live webinars and discussion panels, which all pet professionals are welcome to join.

At Virtual Petindex, visitors can expect to find:
> Two exhibition halls with UK and overseas trade exhibitors, many with show offers and discounts available
> A New Product Showcase auditorium
> Access to show discounts and offers
> A fantastic range of ‘live’ and on-demand pet and business related webinars available to browse and watch
> Free registration and entry to the show.

There are also four live panel discussions on key topics for the industry with high-profile industry experts, which all visitors are invited to join and participate in (all times are GMT):
> Tuesday March 16 at 1pm – Making Visual Merchandising Work for You
> Tuesday March 16 at 3pm – Exploring the Differences in Pet Retailing Across the World
> Wednesday March 17 at 11am – Minimising the Risk of Dog Theft
> Wednesday March 17 at 1pm – The Impact of TV Programmes on the Pet Grooming Sector.

A new feature for this show is the Visitor Leaderboard, whereby visitors can win points when they visit either today or tomorrow. Whether it’s visiting trade stands, downloading documents or watching any of the webinars, activities visitors undertake over the ‘live’ days add up to prizes for those at the top of the leaderboard.

To register to attend, please visit www.vpi.vfairs.com
