New firm Ghostdog Pets is using PATS 2025 as the platform to launch its first pet food brand (stand A40).
Sync is a hybrid recipe of traditional meat and insect protein and also contains pre- and postbiotics, and DHA algae, supporting digestion, immunity, skin & coat, joints, and cognition, claims the company.
Conventional proteins including duck, turkey and lamb are combined with insect protein to increase the suitability for sensitive and allergy-prone dogs and also reduce the product’s environmental footprint. Sync will be sold only through the independent specialist channel as well as direct-to-consumer, with pre-orders available at PATS and full availability from January 2026.
Ghostdog Pets founder Glenn Rankin said: “Pet parents are looking for nutrition that truly works for sensitive pets. Our roots in the independent pet channel go back to the early 1990s, and at Ghostdog Pets we are committed to doing things differently.
“We’re excited to debut Sync with a select group of speciality retailers and look forward to introducing it at PATS.”
