Simply2 Pet Products is donating 10p from every UK sale of ProFleece Vet Bedding (roll or piece) to Jakarta Animal Aid Network (JAAN) as part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability.
JAAN is dedicated to assisting both domestic and wild animals in Indonesia through initiatives such as a turtle hospital and actively combating the illegal turtle meat trade. Its team of volunteers also safeguards turtle hatcheries and runs sessions to educate local communities and fishermen.
ProFleece Vet Bedding is crafted mainly from recycled bottles, and Simply2 ensures maximum utilisation of every roll purchased by donating offcuts to charity and repurposing scraps as packaging material.
The company is also working to eliminate plastic packaging and leaflets that accompany orders, re-using cardboard boxes for shipping parcels whenever possible and has transitioned from standard parcel tape to more sustainable paper tape.
