Online retailer Direct4Pet has announced a new partnership with barn hay supplier Hayday.

Direct4Pet will stock and distribute the full range of HayDay’s products, which includes Tasty Timothy Hay, Sweet & Munchy Ryegrass Hay, Outstanding Oat Hay and Coarse & Crunchy Alfalfa Hay in 1kg packs, plus Moreish Meadow Hay in 1kg and 2.7kg units.

The supplier barn-dries the hay on its farm in Yorkshire.

Direct4Pet director Garry Howard said: “Good quality hay is very important for small animals  such as rabbits and guinea pigs and should comprise the main component of their diet. A diet rich in hay and/or grass helps support digestion, encourages natural chewing behaviour and helps maintain dental health so it very important to feed the best.

“We’re excited to bring this new brand into our offerings, and we believe it will be a trusted forage choice for small animal owners everywhere.”
