Luxury pet ‘lifestyle’ brand and grooming parlour Love My Human is set to open a second store at 330 King’s Road in upmarket Chelsea this summer.

“Titled the Love My Human ‘Townhouse’, the new boutique site will be graced with Little Greene luxury paints and wallpaper and will encompass three floors of dog-themed extravagance and care,” said agent Sloane Stanley.

Located just a stone’s throw away from Love My Human’s flagship retail store and grooming parlour at 308 King’s Road, the new outlet will offer pets and their parents the ‘ultimate quirky, yet luxurious experience for dogs and their human owners alike’.

The ground floor of the 1810 sq ft site will comprise a dog-friendly café and deli, offering human-grade dog food, treats and ‘puppachinos’, as well as a classic all-day breakfast and lunch menu for ‘pet parents’ and children, including items such as dachshund-shaped sandwiches and buddha bowls.

DAYCARE

The Townhouse’s first floor will form a 400 sq ft doggie daycare with secure pens for different sized dogs and a quiet space for sleeping dogs and puppies within the temperature-controlled room. In addition, there will be qualified dog carers and walkers on hand to care for, play with and exercise each canine, as well as dog first aiders. The first floor will be soundproofed and fitted out with soft furnishings to create a home-from-home for resident dogs.

The establishment’s second floor will comprise dog therapy treatment rooms involving a number of ‘therapists in residence’, such as well-known dog nutritionist Anna Webb, as well as consultants from the International Association of Animal Therapists, all of whom will provide a range of specialist treatments, such as dietary consultation, acupuncture and red-light therapy for joint and muscle mobility. There will also be a space for older dogs to enjoy a restful visit. Plus, there will be access to a gated 550 sq ft roof terrace, with artificial grass for outdoor playtime..

Hannah Grievson, head of property at Sloane Stanley, said: “The King’s Road attracts a vibrant, affluent clientele with a passion for pets and, just like their human owners, their furry companions have very discerning tastes that need to be fully catered for.

ICONIC

“The signing of the Love My Human Townhouse responds to the needs of our community (both two and four-legged) and bolsters the iconic and creative offering across the estate and within Chelsea.  We are delighted that the brand has chosen to evolve their concept with us and expand into a much anticipated second site.”

Jenny Matthews, Founder of Love My Human, added: “We are so excited to be embarking on our second luxury pet offering on the King’s Road following the success of our original boutique as well as our online business.

“With more people spending time at home and choosing to take the leap into pet ownership, our clientele have become increasingly well-engaged with our brand as we recognised the demand to grow our pet community. We enjoy meeting all of our furry clients and their parents, and feel The King’s Road is the perfect place to continue to grow our brand. We can’t wait to launch the Townhouse to the public, delivering a brand new extra indulgent pet care offer to Chelsea.”
