Company of Animals’ Coachi training brand is to sponsor the Dog Agility Rescue League (DARL) Agility Finals 2026.
DARL is a national agility league exclusively for rescued and rehomed dogs, and the annual DARL Finals will welcome around 120 rescue dogs and their handlers to celebrate the achievements, stories and success of dogs given a second home. The league features multiple categories based on grade, as well as charity leagues, a re-homer league and a junior league for younger competitors.
Throughout the year, members accumulate points at competitions, with top performers recognised annually with rosettes and trophies. Based on these results, the top competitors in each category and height are invited to take part in the DARL Finals, which this year takes place on Saturday May 30 and will be judged by Doc Docherty.
The league is run by a team including Ash Warner, Bob Richards, Ian Hastie, Isla McIntosh and Karen Fuller, and Coachi’s sponsorship of the finals is seen as representative of its commitment to positive reinforcement training and to celebrating the bond between dogs and their owners.
Coachi Senior Category Manager Liz Hayes said: “We are delighted to be sponsoring and supporting the DARL Finals. At Coachi, we are passionate about the power of training to build strong, positive relationships, and we are proud to support those who give rescue dogs a second chance.
“Events like this highlight not only the dedication of handlers, but also the confidence, fun and success that rescue dogs can achieve.”
