Raw dog food supplier Paleo Ridge has expanded its Paleo Plus range with two products for senior dogs.
The Senior Range is available in two single-protein varieties – Turkey and Lamb – and features reduced bone content to support easier digestion as well as superfoods such as kale, broccoli, and carrots.
Paleo Ridge has also included Reishi mushroom tinctures from Bristol Fungarium into the meals, in what is claimed to be a first for the pet food industry. These mushrooms can deliver significant health benefits due to their ability to protect cells from oxidative damage.
Chief executive Tyler Daly said: “As dogs get older, their nutritional needs change, and our new Senior Range is crafted to meet those evolving needs.
“We’ve blended high-quality proteins with nutrient-dense superfoods to create meals that not only taste great but help senior dogs maintain their health and vitality for as long as possible.”
Paleo Plus Senior Lamb 500g has an RRP of £4.60, with the turkey variety (also 500g) retailing for £5.50.
