Benyfit Natural has expanded its portfolio with the launch of a range of freeze-dried raw products.
The new range comprises treats in two pack sizes and complete food recipes in a choice of three single proteins – beef, pork and chicken – making 12 skus in all.
The food lines comprise 92% meat and 8% vegetables and superfoods, a ratio which makes the new lines “best in class” for freeze-dried, maintains the company. The formulation is based on a Swedish recipe from Benyfit Natural’s owners Snellman Petfood, and products are particularly suitable for active and working dogs.
Benyfit Natural managing director Greg Van Praagh told PBW News: “These high-quality products are highly convenient for the camping and holiday market, for people who want the quality of raw but might not like handling the frozen product, or for those who have simply forgotten to take the food out of the freezer in time.”
Products are available to order now, to be in-store from early November. The treats are supplied in 40g and 120g packs, with the food in 250g packs. Display units are available for the trade.
