The organisers of PATS Sandown are looking for 10 specialist retailers to join the judging panel for the New Product Awards at the Sandown show in Esher, Surrey, next month – and there’s a bottle of champagne for each judge and the chance to have a sneak preview of the year’s most innovative new pet products.
The Showcase, sponsored by pbwnews, is a highlight of the trade event and attracts about 250 entries from around the trade. Judging of the new products takes place on the morning of the first day of the show (Sunday, February 10), with winners being announced at lunchtime.
The identity of all judges will be kept anonymous.
A spokesman for the organisers said: “Judges meet at 9.15am at Sandown Park, where there is a short briefing before judging of the new product, which will take about two hours.
“It’s not an arduous task and is great fun! It’s a great opportunity for retailers to take an active role in a key feature of the show – and, best of all, they get to see all the new products before anyone else and is great kudos for them.”
