The winners of the PetQuip Industry Awards will be unveiled at a special drinks reception after the first day of PATS Telford on Sunday.
There were a record number of entries, and the winners were decided by an independent judging panel, including industry experts and pet retailers, earlier this month.
Two new categories – ‘Innovations in Lockdown’ and ‘Community Projects During a Crisis’ – have been introduced to reflect on how well pet companies and individuals have excelled in the face of adversity.
Also this year the Theresa Swann Trophy for Exporter of the Year, sponsored by Group 55, will be presented for the first time in memory of PetQuip’s former head of events and administration, who sadly passed away in December 2019.
“In these unusual times we felt it best to present the awards at a safe networking event in a large and airy environment,” confirmed Pat Flynn, Trade Association Manager of PetQuip.
“We have been working closely with the PATS organising team to deliver a safe, enjoyable, professionally staged event, to celebrate the finalists’ and winners’ successes with industry colleagues, retail guests and our sponsors.”
Visitors and exhibitors to PATS Telford will be invited to the PetQuip Awards presentations, which are due to start shortly after the exhibition closes at 5pm.
