Urban Pup is bringing Aardman Animation’s legendary character Gromit into the pet care sector with a range of accessories including his famous raincoat and sou’wester.
The full range includes Gromit’s raincoat, Gromit’s raincoat & sou’wester set, harness, bandana, collar and lead plus Wallace’s sweater and tie set, as well as a Wallace & Gromit gift box.
Urban Pup recently signed a licensing agreement with Aardman in anticipation of the 3oth anniversary of Wallace & Gromit’s first cinematic appearance in The Wrong Trousers.
Denis Kelly, managing director of UrbanPup.com, said: “Throughout 2023 we will be celebrating the 30th Anniversary of The Wrong Trousers by showcasing Gromit’s raincoat & sou’wester. In the film Gromit feeling rejected by Wallace, packed his belongings, and left home. But it was raining and as he didn’t want to get wet, on went his raincoat and sou’wester. This is the only time Gromit is seen wearing a coat. So, we thought fans around the world would love it if we brought the outfit to life, especially in this anniversary year.
