Dog walking app GoWalkies has launched a funding campaign on Kickstarter to support its growth plans, which includes expanding across Europe and introducing blockchain technology.
Following the company’s launch in June 2021, GoWalkies’ new Kickstarter campaign aims to raise £10,000 to enable investment in the app’s user experience and to support back-end developments, as well as future plans to launch overseas.
GoWalkies claims to be the only dog walking app in the UK that allows dog walkers to retain 100% of their fee. The app also gives users access to real-time walk tracking and secure payment systems.
Sonny D’Avola, founder of GoWalkies, said: “From quickly establishing ourselves in the pet tech sector and creating a community of thousands, GoWalkies has gone from strength to strength. We’re now looking at how we can take the GoWalkies app to new heights whilst improving on the experience for both dog owners and dog walkers.
