Demand for home delivery of pet products in the US has boosted Chewy’s sales and new customer website visits during the pandemic -and the online retailer is to add up to 10,000 more employees to handle the surge, CEO Sumit Singh says.
Sales have been on the rise since mid-February, and the company is forecasting a first-quarter increase of between 35% and 37% over the same period last year, Forbes reports.
