A husband and wife team have got Tails-a-Waggin after successfully re-opening a pet shop on Mold High Street.

Cal and Stephen Jebb re-opened the Tails-a-Waggin store in January and couldn’t be happier with the reaction they have received from the public, reports The Leader.
Stephen – who is also a pet and wedding photographer, with a display of his work in the store – said: “It’s been a really good response. The people of Mold have been so kind and have been popping in to give their best wishes.

“There’s been lots of support from the customers and the local community. We’re both animal lovers and are thrilled to be working in Mold.

“Cal is no stranger to working with animals and is hoping nine years as a veterinary nurse will stand her in good stead.”

INDEPENDENT

Councillor Karen Hodgkinson, mayor of Mold, opened the shop and said: “Independent shops in Mold are really important to the town and I am delighted to open this traditional family-run pet shop. These independent shops ensure Mold continues to provide a variety of services and products, giving consumers a reason to continue visiting our great little town.

“Mold is a wonderful place to start up a business. We have fantastic footfall in the area and the store will be a huge benefit to the town and the animal community.”
Stephen says: “We have given the shop a total revamp as it needed some of TLC. It’s taken a lot of blood, sweat, and tears, but we got there in the end.

“We plan to sell animals such as guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters later in the year, while we’re also looking into frozen and live food for anglers and reptile keepers.”
