Traditional bricks-and-mortar pet shops looking to sell online during the current crisis and beyond are invited to a webinar from 12-13.30pm today (Wednesday) to learn how to set up an eBay store.

“eBay has long been the first place for pet businesses to sell and for customers to shop and, with 26m active customers in the UK, we encourage all business currently limited by covid-19 to utilise our sales channel to continue business as usual,” said Mariam Tayeb, category manager for pet supplies for eBay UK.

“I’d like to speak to anyone who would like to open a shop on our platform – we can link in SMEs with logistics providers to provide a solution for smaller businesses. We have a range of logistic partners that can offer an end-to-end solution to brands, suppliers and manufacturers.

“The problems that pet businesses are facing in this climate, eBay will have a solution for – and if not, we will do our best to find one.”

Since March 26, any new businesses that register on eBay.co.uk will pay no fees to list items or sell until May 31. This offer is subject to 250 product listings each month and eBay expects it to help 99% of the new businesses that list on its platform.

All you have to do to join the webinar is use the link: https://ebay.zoom.us/j/95730731023
