Vote in our online pet shop poll

Do you want to see reps back in your shops at this time?

As essential services, pet shops have been open throughout the coronavirus pandemic and have been at the forefront of implementing social distancing and managing customer demand.

From next week high streets across the country will begin opening up further, which is likely to bring increased footfall and with it hopes of a new ‘normal’.

Manufacturers have been expressing their concerns to pbwnews about how best to support retailers as the new ways of shopping and working become established. In particular, many would like to know whether the time is right to send reps back out to meet their customers.

What do you think? Would you welcome seeing company reps again to hear what they could offer your shop or store as we move into a new phase of coronavirus management?

Maybe you rarely see them anyway – or wish you didn’t! Although we have already had some retailers get in touch to say they miss seeing their reps for a chat, and perhaps that’s you too?

We think it’s time for a discussion on this topic…and hope it will be the first of many subjects that it might be useful for the pet trade to debate over the coming weeks.

PLEASE TAKE PART

In order to take part in this discussion, please join our poll by VOTING HERE

It’s very simple – you don’t have to give any personal details, just answer three easy questions asking about your current relationship with company reps, whether you are ready to start welcoming them back to your stores, or whether the time just isn’t right at the moment.

Enjoy the vote and we’ll let you know the outcome.
