Retailer Jollyes has opened a new store in Perth.
The new branch, at St Catherine’s Retail Park, replaces the company’s older store at Highland Gateway. The larger new store includes a raw food ‘shop-in-shop’.
Officially opening the new outlet on July 25 was Provost of Perth & Kinross Xander McDade, his dog Cora and police dog Odin with handler PC Richard Smith. German Shepherd Odin serves in the Scottish police force and represents the National Foundation for Retired Service Animals (NFRSA). This year all Jollyes’ stores are raising money for NFRSA, with in-store donations matched by Jollyes up to £20,000.
Celebratory activity continued at the store on Saturday 26 July26, with an entertainer and pet theme gameshows, and every customer over the weekend had the chance to spin Jollyes’ ‘Wheel of Fur-tune’ to win prizes.
All eight colleagues in Perth have relocated to the new store, alongside the creation of three new full-time roles. The team is led by experienced store manager Stuart Brown, who has been with the retailer for over six years.
Brown said: “We’re delighted to finally open the doors to our bigger and better store in Perth, welcoming both new and existing customers.
“My whole team are looking forward to continuing to deliver the service, expertise – and above all prices – that Jollyes is known for in Perth and across Scotland.”
