Beaphar has added a new range of fast-acting flea tablets for cats and dogs to its portfolio of anti-parasite products.
Beaphar Flea Tablets for Cats and Dogs are available without prescription and start to address a flea infestation within 15 minutes, according to the manufacturer. Containing Nitenpyram, the tablets kill 95-100% of fleas within the first six hours, and 100% within 24 hours of ingestion, it claims.
The tablets can also be used in pregnant and lactating cats and dogs, and for kittens and puppies over four weeks old.
Beaphar Flea Tablets for Cats are available in a 3-treatment pack or a 6-treatment pack while, for dogs, two 3-treatment pack options are available – Beaphar Flea Tablets for Small Dogs, which are suitable for dogs and puppies from 4 weeks old and weighing between 1–11kg, and Beaphar Flea Tablets for Medium & Large Dogs, which are suitable for dogs and puppies from 4 weeks old and weighing 11.1–57kg.
Beaphar marketing manager Claire Edmunds said: “Pets may be missing out on regular flea control, increasing the risk of experiencing an infestation.
“Retailers can help their customers get on top of an infestation quickly and effectively with Beaphar Flea Tablets, which alongside the wider Beaphar anti-parasite range, offers high-quality, vet-strength products at an affordable price.”
