Jollyes is to open a new store in Perth later this month.
Having traded in the city for 10 years from an outlet in Highland Gateway, the retailer will relocate to larger premises at St Catherine’s retail park, closer to the city centre. The new store will open its doors on Tuesday July 22, with a formal grand opening ceremony at on Friday July 25.
At 7,500sq ft, the new store will be one of the largest in the Jollyes estate, and will feature a raw store ‘shop-in-shop’ and an extensive supply of bird food.
All eight current colleagues will be transferring to the relocated store, alongside the creation of three new full-time roles. Jollyes’ Perth team will be led by store manager Stuart Brown, who has been with the retailer for over six years.
He said: “Our team are working flat out to get Perth’s expanded and easy-to-reach store ready for customers, while keeping the same friendly faces and industry-leading know-how they love.
“My whole team is looking forward to delivering the service, expertise – and above all prices – that Jollyes is known for in Perth and beyond.”
Helping to officially open the new store will be Provost of Perth & Kinross Xander McDade with his black Labrador Cora, retired service dog Odin and his owner PC Richard Smith, and Scotland’s national piper Louise Marshall.
