Retailer Jollyes has launched a new discount range which it claims is the lowest-price pet food brand in the UK.
Simply Jollyes comprises 22 products across food and non-food essentials for dogs, cats, small pets and wild birds, with pack sizes and price points specifically designed to appeal to cost-conscious customers. Lines includes 6 x 400g cans of dog food for £2.98, 10l cat litter for £2.17 and 12.55kg of wild bird seed for £6.48. The full list is below.
The new range was first unveiled at the retailer’s new Blackpool store on March 24, and will roll out to all its 118 branches in the UK this month.
According to RSPCA’s annual kindness index, 10% of pet owners are buying pet food less often or changing to a cheaper brand and Jollyes is hoping to attract owners who are currently shopping at limited-range discounters.
