Buckinghamshire-based dog day care business Claire’s Comfy Canines has funded the installation of two new dog waste bins in the village of Burnham in order to support cleaner streets and encourage responsible dog ownership.

The move is part of a wider initiative to make the village one of the county’s most dog‑friendly communities. Claire’s is also providing window stickers to businesses wishing to promote their dog friendly status and the initiative has been supported by a number of local small businesses and the parish council.

Founder and managing director Claire Hunter said: “Burnham has a vibrant community of dog owners, and we want to help make the village a place where they feel welcome and supported.

“By improving facilities and encouraging businesses to embrace dog‑friendly policies, we can boost footfall, increase dwell time, and strengthen our local economy.”
