Rosewood Pet Products is celebrating a a major social media milestone after a light-hearted office video asking viewers to “Guess Rodney’s Owner” went viral across Instagram and TikTok.
Filmed casually in the Rosewood office, the video centres around Rodney, a much-loved office dog, with viewers challenged to guess which member of staff is his owner. In the clip, Rodney calmly interacts with different team members, meaning that audiences flooded the comments section with humorous theories and reactions, including confident picks naming the wrong employee.
The original video achieved viral status (100,000+ views) in just over 24 hours after posting and the Instagram Reel has now surpassed an impressive two million views, with a further 250,000 views for the TikTok version, introducing the Rosewood brand to a huge new audience of pet owners, retailers and animal lovers. Follow-up videos are also performing strongly, including one Instagram Reel that has already reached more than 291,000 views.
Rodney’s owner was eventually revealed to be Rosewood’s marketing manager Carly Baker.
