Delapre has relaunched its long-handled No Bend Pet Bowl after switching its manufacture to the UK.
The product is aimed particularly at pet owners with a disability or issues with mobility issues. The new No Bend Pet Bowl has an extendable ‘easy-grip’ handle which allows owners to fill the double 8oz bowls with food or water on a convenient surface before placing it on the floor. A rubber overmold now surrounds the base to prevent it sliding.
Originally launched in 2015, design and manufacture of the bowl was initially carried out in China before the product was withdrawn due to supply and quality issues two years ago.
Delapre director Matt Oakley said: “We kept getting emails via our website and messages on social media from people in all corners of the world asking where they could buy a No Bend Pet Bowl, and we had to tell them they couldn’t! It was madness!”
The firm is now working with a design and manufacturing company based outside Kings Lynn in Norfolk, and has already fulfilled a pre-order of the new bowls.
With an RRP of £24.95 inc. VAT, the product is currently available in red, with different colours including light grey and black soon to be added to the range.
