Multi award-winning small animal accessories company HayPigs! is at it again…
As well as being named Best Retailer in the Business Excellence Awards Ceremony run by ActionCOACH, the fledgling business was also a finalist in the Best Import/Export and the Most Innovative Company category and co-founder Rik reached the for Entrepreneur of the Year.
“This is a truly amazing achievement that we are all very proud of; it was an incredible night for us.” said Rik. “For whatever reason HayPigs! caught the audience’s imagination and they all went bonkers when we won. It was a very special atmosphere and one I will never forget.”
HayPigs! has just celebrated its second year of trading and has been working hard to raise the profile of guinea pigs and their wellbeing and enrichment needs. Rik hopes this latest award will continue to shine a light on the cause.
“We have clearly demonstrated that we have a serious business model here and are very in touch with what our customers want. To be recognised alongside so many highly successful businesses at this awards ceremony is testament to what we have achieved to date. It just goes to show what you can accomplish with big dreams and a clear vision.”
Rik has spent the last 14 months working with his business coach, Sean Purcell and is keen to thank Sean for all his efforts.
“Early on in the process of setting up our business, we knew we’d need a little help.
