Burgess Pet Care has named Lincs Dobermann Rescue UK and HerOES Old English Sheepdog Rehoming as the winners of its 2026 Yorkshire Takeover campaign.
The campaign invited members of the public to nominate rescue centres to receive food donations, with 20p from every bag of Burgess Supadog Rich in Salmon sold throughout the year contributing directly towards the fund. The two successful organisations will receive donations of Burgess Supadog food.
Burgess Pet Care deputy managing director Suzanne Moyes said: “We were delighted to bring the Yorkshire Takeover back this year, and were grateful for the positive response and the opportunity it has given us to support two fantastic rescue organisations.
“Both Lincs Dobermann Rescue UK and HerOES Old English Sheepdog Rehoming carry out incredible work caring for and rehoming dogs that need a second chance. We hope these food donations will help provide the quality nutrition the dogs in their care need while they wait for their forever homes.”
