The Pet Industry Federation (PIF) is bidding to help UK pet businesses explore the US market through a presence at two international trade shows.
PIF will lead a supported UK delegation to SuperZoo in Las Vegas next month, as well as a dedicated UK pavilion at Global Pet Expo in Orlando in March 2027.
At SuperZoo, which takes place in Las Vegas on August 12-14, PIF is co-ordinating a supported visit for UK buyers, retailers, distributors and buying groups looking to source new products, meet suppliers and gain a better understanding of the US pet market. The visit forms part of SuperZoo’s Curated Access Programme, which combines complimentary access to the exhibition and education programme with additional planning, recommendations, networking opportunities and on-site support.
PIF is also planning a dedicated UK-US networking breakfast, to take place during the show. Speakers are currently being secured to provide practical insight into the US market, including buyer and distributor expectations, routes to market and the commercial considerations facing UK companies.
The UK pavilion for Global Pet Expo, taking place in Orlando in March 2027, is being planned to give UK brands the opportunity to exhibit as part of a co-ordinated national presence at the exhibition. The pavilion will be open to PIF members and is intended to reduce some of the complexity of exhibiting overseas while raising the profile of the UK pet sector internationally.
PIF is now asking interested companies to confirm their provisional space requirements so that the overall pavilion size and layout can be agreed with the organisers.
