Danish pet food company Globe Buddy is expanding its European presence into the Baltic states through a new partnership with Lithuanian distributor Euromedika.
The launch into Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia includes products from Globe Buddy’s treat portfolio, led by Hearts, its newest range of everyday dog treats.
The range comprises three recipes – two based on insect protein, paired with seaweed or green tea, and a vegan variety with sweet potato and marigold. The selection also includes the functional Luxx range.
Euromedika has an established presence in the Baltic region and experience within the veterinary sector. Globe Buddy launched its first products in 2021 and the company’s portfolio includes dry dog food, functional treats and everyday snacks using alternative protein sources such as insect protein, alongside plant-based ingredients
Globe Buddy co-founder and CEO Bjarne Gravesen Jensen said: “We see the Baltic states as an interesting market for Globe Buddy, particularly as consumers and professionals increasingly look for high-quality pet nutrition combined with new approaches to ingredients and protein sources.
“For us, international growth is not simply about adding countries to a map – it is about finding the right people to build each market with,”
