Kennelpak has expanded its Yakers dog chew range with a Blueberry Superfoods flavour.
The natural chew retains the benefits of the original Yakers flavours in keeping dogs occupied, helping reduce plaque and tartar, while the added blueberry helps bolster the immune system and promote healthy cognitive function, says the company.
Superfoods Blueberry Yakers also contains vitamins A, C & E to help support the immune system, while the antioxidants in blueberries help support a normal inflammatory response in dogs and can help them recover from exercise, as well as being a source of dietary fibre.
The launch follows the successful introduction of a Cranberry Superfoods variety last November.
Yakers brand manager Ellie Hall said: “After the success of the Cranberry Superfoods, it was clear that pet parents really want a chew which offers more, so the natural decision was to extend the superfoods range and create a new flavour with some fantastic health benefits.
“Blueberry was the perfect choice as we know they benefit dogs in so many ways.”
