Skinner’s is celebrating 50 years ‘fuelling’ working dogs.

The East Anglia company says that over the last five decades, it has established incredible loyalty, built on its deep-rooted family values, heritage and trust.

To mark the milestone, Skinner’s has refreshed its look with a new logo, updated its dry packaging, and introduced some new products to its Field & Trial range. Its updated, recyclable dry food packaging is due to launch late spring.

The Skinner’s Field & Trial Complete Wet Food range comprises:
* Puppy & Junior – Chicken & Garden Veg – grain-free, all-round nutrition for puppies and young dogs
* Adult – Chicken & Root Veg – grain-free receipe to support dogs in light work
* Adult – Salmon & Steamed Veg – a source of omega-3 to support skin and coat condition.
* Adult – Lamb & Root Veg – A lamb and vegetable complete wet food, made to a grain-free formulation, for dogs with every day energy requirements.

Skinner’s wet diets are formulated to be used either as a complete diet or as a ‘topper’ on any of the dry foods in the Skinner’s Field & Trial range.

“Every one of our new wet foods are made with 100% natural ingredients and are formulated without grain, making them an ideal choice for dogs with grain intolerances or those with sensitive digestive systems,” a spokesman said. “They can also be used to support a dog’s recovery after a digestive upset when an easy-to-digest diet might be beneficial.”

The Field & Trial range of wet diets are all formulated to be highly palatable – making them particularly suitable for fussy eaters, older dogs or dogs recovering from illness or after intense activity. The RRP for a Single Carton is £1.25 (VAT FREE) or £22.50 (VAT-free) for a case of 18 x 390g.

The company’s eco-friendly, plant-based, compact cartons contain 390g of wet food – the same amount as a standard size can, tray or pouch – and help reduce plastic waste and carbon footprint. They are also designed to keep foods fresher for longer.

Skinner’s is also launching a range of hand-baked training treats made with natural ingredients and with 100% recyclable, plastic-free, fully compostable packaging. RRPs are single 90g pouch £1.49 and case of 8 x 90g pouches £11.92

There are three varieties in the range:
* Dental & Digestive Dog Treats
* Joint & Conditioning Dog Treats
* Dog Training Treats.
