Bern Pet Foods has expanded its offering of the Orijen brand with the launch of an adult large breed variety in the UK and Ireland.
Orijen Large Breed Adult is suitable for 30kg+ adult dogs is made with 85% animal ingredients such as fresh or frozen/raw chicken and turkey and wild-caught fish. With Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids from with wild-caught herring and salmon, plus calcium from poultry ingredients plus probiotics and a blend of fibre, the recipe helps support joint health, skin and coat health and digestive health. The kibble is in a large size for improved palatability for larger jaws and also includes whole prey ingredients such as organs.
Approximately 20% of the UK dog population is classified as large breed, according to Bern, and the category includes breeds such as Alaskan malamutes, Bernese mountain dogs, bull mastiffs, Doberman pinschers, great Danes, Irish wolfhounds and rottweilers.
