New slow-cooked kibble arrives in the UK

A new slow-cooked complete dog food made from 100% natural ingredients is being launched in the UK and Ireland.

YDOLO, which stands for Your Dog Only Lives Once, is available in Iberico Pork, Duck, Chicken and Wild Fish varieties, as well as a formulation for puppies. Recipes contain up to 75% fresh meat or fish, accompanied by fruit, vegetables and selected supplements such as dandelion, ginger, turmeric, cordyceps, and shiitake mushrooms, with ingredients specifically selected to add value, provide nutritional balance and serve a specific health purpose, from joint support to digestive health. For example, a mix of cordyceps and shiitake mushrooms are included with YDOLO’s Wild Fish and Duck recipes.

The production process slowly steams the fresh ingredients at a low temperature of around 70°C, ensuring maximum nutrient retention, while fresh meat and fish is cooked in its own juices, preserving the natural goodness and enhancing digestibility.

YDOLO is distributed exclusively in the UK & Ireland by Well Fed Pets.

Owner Gary Gilmore maintained that the brand “aims to set a new standard in the pet food market, offering uncompromised quality for dog owners who want the best for their pets”.

He said: “With so many brands already available on the market, people may question whether the UK needs another range of dog kibble? I believe there’s definitely room for a high-quality, complete food that not only provides convenience for owners but also offers a holistic approach to nutrition and dog wellbeing.

“YDOLO is designed to deliver more than just sustenance – it’s about supporting a dog’s long-term health with carefully selected natural ingredients and a production process that preserves their full nutritional value.”

The YDOLO range is available in 2.5kg and 10kg bags with a RRP from £24.50.
