Yorkshire-based pet accessory brand Collared Creatures is reporting record sales of its ranges of Harris Tweed collars and leads, dog beds and dog drying coats in the run-up to Christmas.
Owner Julie Greaves said the company’s mission was to provide fellow dog lovers with ‘the finest range of beautiful products’, including a selection of beds and ‘exquisite’ hand-crafted collars and leads, made from the finest Harris Tweed, plus dog drying coats.
POINT-OF-SALE
Collared Creatures has invested in new point-of-sale packaging for its collars and leads and dog drying coats and is aiming to expand its retail operation by focusing on ‘high-end’ pet boutiques, country stores, garden centres and gift shops.
“This has been the busiest run-up to Christmas ever,” said Julie. “We have already taken over 500 orders for our hand-made collars and we have had sell-outs on our dog beds and dog drying coats, with new stock arriving daily.
“I think that this shows that quality matters and that having a collar and lead that is hand-made using the best British materials truly matters to dog owners.”
