Manufacturer The Innocent Hound has given its 70% Original Complete Food range a new look.
The packaging refresh is designed to make use of strong colours in order to create a more eye-catching and impactful display for retailers, and to align the range with the company’s other food and treat lines.
The updated range includes eight air-dried recipes comprising six complete food recipes for dogs, including Lamb Casserole, Beef Stew, and Salmon Fishcakes, and two dual protein complete food recipes for cats – Salmon & Tuna and Duck & Venison.
Each recipe is now available in a recyclable, resealable 1.5kg pouch, replacing the previous boxed format, in trade cases of four. The RRP is £32.50 per 1.5kg pack.
Chloe Heaton, founder and managing director of The Innocent Hound, said: “This is something we’ve wanted to do for a long time, and now we’ve found the right packaging to bring the whole range together. Having all our food and treat packaging aligned creates a really impactful display and helps shoppers discover and understand air-dried food more easily.
“It’s an exciting time for us as the range comes together, and we can’t wait to showcase the new look at upcoming trade shows, including PATS, and see it on shelves in stores soon.”
