Pet food manufacturer Forthglade has been acquired by Assisi Pet Care.
Founded in 1971 and headquartered in Okehampton, Devon, Forthglade has its own manufacturing facility and specialises in minimally processed wet and dry dog food and natural treats.
The majority owner of Forthglade was formerly the European private equity firm IK Partners. The acquisition means the company will join Assisi’s existing brand portfolio, which includes Burns, Hollings, HiLife, Maced, Pet Munchies, Yakers and NAW.
