The House of Lords Environment and Climate Change Committee is continuing its inquiry into Pet Parasite Medications (PPMs) today (June 10) with a session hearing from veterinary practitioners.
Giving evidence will be Dr Elizabeth Mullineaux, senior vice president at the British Veterinary Association (BVA); Dr Rose Perkins, veterinary surgeon and visiting fellow at Grantham Institute; and Dr Martin Whitehead, senior veterinary surgeon at Chipping Norton Veterinary Hospital.
Questions from the committee will cover, among other topics, the types of PPMs and changes over time; veterinary awareness of environmental concerns; and advice and labelling for responsible product use.
