Industry awards finalists revealed

The Pet Industry Federation has revealed the shortlist for its 2021 awards, chosen from a record number of entries.

The winners of 19 categories will be announced at a celebratory dinner in Northamptonshire on Thursday, October 21 – along with three other special accolades to be announced on the night.

The Pet Industry Federation Awards are supported by headline sponsors Tuft and Cliverton, category sponsors the National Pet College, Doglyness and Natures Menu and media partner pbwnews.

The PIF’s Gala Awards evening, at Whittlebury Hall, near Towcester, will provide public acknowledgement of outstanding candidates and businesses for their impact on the pet industry during 2021.

This year’s finalists, whose names will go forward for a final evaluation by an independent judging panel to confirm the overall winners, are (in alphabetical order):

Two Special Achievement Awards and one Lifetime Achievement Award will also be handed out on the night, rewarding those people who have made an outstanding contribution to the pet industry.
Nigel Baker, PIF’s chief executive, said: “The number and quality of entries this year proves that there is still so much innovation and excellence in the pet industry and lots for us all to be excited about.

“The awards night will be a great opportunity for everyone to come together after the pandemic break, and we look forward to celebrating with the best that the industry has to offer.”
