Urban canine daycare provider WagWorks has opened its second site in London.
The 8,000sq ft facility in Islington Square follows the same model as the company’s inaugural site in Fulham, offering structured and socialised daycare plus in-house training, grooming and healthcare services for a monthly membership fee.
The new Islington branch will be led by vet Dr Steph Day MRCVS, who said: “I’m incredibly proud to be joining a team with such a depth of experience, compassion, and shared commitment to providing proactive, personalised care.
“At WagWorks, dogs benefit holistically from the range of grooming, training, socialisation and healthcare in an integrated approach which truly sets it apart from a typical daycare or health setting. Together, we’re creating a space where every dog is not only looked after, but genuinely understood, nurtured and can thrive.”
WagWorks co-founder Ollie Hudd-Williams added: “With a vibrant, dog-loving community, Islington felt like a natural next step for WagWorks. The response to our inaugural club in Fulham has been phenomenal; we’ve seen first-hand how much people value thoughtful and expert-led holistic care, especially in a busy city like London.
“North London has long been on our radar, and Islington Square is the perfect setting for our second club. We’re so excited to welcome a new community of people who want the very best care for their dogs. This launch is just the beginning of our journey to reimagine dog care across London and beyond.”
