Clipit Grooming has opened a new retail and education space in Hampshire dedicated to professional and pet grooming.
The Clipit Hub, located at Basepoint Business Centre in Basingstoke, is designed as a destination for dog groomers, horse owners, and pet lovers to explore innovative grooming products, gain expert advice, and try tools before they buy.
The new unit is the brainchild of Clipit Grooming founder Paula Bryan. She said: “The Clipit Hub isn’t just a shop — it’s a place for learning, connection, and confidence-building.
“We’ve designed it as a community space where groomers can get hands-on experience with products, attend workshops, and discover how to care for both the skin and coat properly.”
Visitors to the hub can test grooming tools, scissors, and clippers in-store before purchasing, while Bryan and her team can offer guidance on topics including blade maintenance and choosing the right shampoo for different coat types. The space will also offer regular sessions for students, groomers, and pet owners
covering skin and coat care, clipper maintenance, and grooming techniques, with special discounts on products for grooming college students who are starting their careers. The unit is open on Monday to Friday, and on Saturday by appointment only.
“We’ve created something truly unique for Basingstoke,” added Bryan. “Whether you’re a professional groomer, a student, or a pet owner who wants to learn how to care for your animal’s coat at home, the Hub is here to help.”
