A record number of new products will be unveiled at this year’s PATS trade exhibition, taking place for the first time at the NEC Birmingham.
Products entered into the New Products Showcase, sponsored by PBW News, will be judged by a panel of independent pet retailers on the first day of the show to decide the winners of the New Product Awards across nine categories covering dog, cat and small animal food and accessories. The show will also feature a separate New Product Showcase and Awards in the dedicated Aquatics Zone, plus a New Starter Zone Award for recent start-ups.
PATS event director Gordon Thomas said: “It’s great to see so many companies putting their new products forward, and I would urge those exhibitors who haven’t entered the Showcase yet to make sure they do so because it’s a not-to-be missed opportunity.
“Speaking to visitors, we know that a lot of them head to the Showcase first. They can view all the latest items in the Showcase, and once they’ve seen what they like, they then head off to the stand of the manufacturer or supplier of that product to discuss it in more detail.”
