Cotswold Raw has officially achieved approval under UK Pet Food’s Raw Standard Scheme.
The scheme was set up by manufacturers’ trade association UK Pet Food with the aim of being the leading standard for raw pet food safety and quality in the UK. The programme, which scrutinises all aspects of hygiene and feed safety from the selection of raw materials all the way to the finished goods, was developed by UK Pet Food and certification specialists KIWA, alongside government regulatory bodies DEFRA and the FSA.
A statement from Cotswold Raw said: “We go the extra mile above legal requirements for every meal we manufacture, showing our commitment to quality, and product safety. This achievement is a testament to our commitment to providing the very best for our customers.”
