DoggyRade is to supply its new range of isotonic pet drinks to Pedigree Wholesale.
The new pet products include isotonic rehydration drinks for cats and dogs, and a meal enhancer for dry pet food.
Pedigree Wholesale will launch with three product lines: Doggyrade, KittyRade and YummyRade.
DoggyRade is an isotonic drink that encourages fast hydration in dogs. It aims to increase fluid intake, helping dogs to rehydrate quickly after exercise and older dogs to drink more regularly. It comes in 250ml and 500ml pouches.
KittyRade is an isotonic drink that also encourages reliable hydration in cats. Like the dog product, it contains prebiotics to help support gut health and improve digestion and nutrient absorption. It also contains taurine, an essential amino acid for cats, and comes in 250ml pouches.
YummyRade is a meal enhancer designed to improve the taste and palatability of pet food. This can be particularly helpful if pets are on bland diets, or just fussy eaters, the makers say.
“Many gravy toppers are high in calories and fat based, but YummyRade is extremely low in calories and fat,” a spokesman said.
