Kennelpak has announced an exclusive distributor partnership with US-based pet food and treat manufacturer Primal Pet Group.
The agreement will see the pet specialist wholesaler supply two new natural occupier dog chew brands, Himalayan Pet Supply and Yellow Yak, in the UK.
The new additions also add bacon, chicken and peanut butter flavour natural occupier dog chews to Kennelpak’s existing portfolio, which includes the Yakers range.
Primal Pet Group’s Himalayan Pet Supply brands have captured a 60% market share in the US, where the natural occupier dog chew category is growing by 13% year on year (Nielsen and Stackline data). Primal operates a network of manufacturing facilities in the US, in California, Colorado, Texas, and Washington, with the company focused on using production processes that best retain the natural nutrition of ingredients.

The new products will be available in the UK from June 2024.
