Mars has announced to appointment of two new general managers for its pet care businesses.
Nick Foster has been appointed general manager, Mars Pet Nutrition for the UK, Ireland and Nordics. Since 2022, he has served as the general manager of Royal Canin UK & Ireland, during which time he spearheaded a digital acceleration programme. He originally joined Mars as part of its graduate programme in 2006, initially working at Mars Food, before moving to the pet care business in 2008. He has worked across a number of different functions within the business, including marketing & category and interim sales director.
In a further promotion, James McGrath has expanded his responsibilities from general manager, Royal Canin Nordics, to cover the UK and Ireland as well. Also an alumnus of the Mars graduate programme, McGrath has excelled in a number of leadership roles, including marketing director for Multisales Central Europe and general manager for Mars Multisales Sweden.
