Burgess Pet Care has introduced Sunshine Snacks, a limited-edition grass-based snack.
Part of the company’s Excel Nature Snacks range, Sunshine Snacks are a complementary feed for rabbits and guinea pigs and other small animals, baked containing spinach, blueberries and blackcurrant. Jollyes is already stocking the new line, which is also available to other retailers.
Packs feature the logo Rabbit Awareness Week (RAW), an annual initiative by Burgess that this year runs on June 24-28.
Burgess Excel brand manager Annabel Coleman said: “Coinciding with Excel’s 25th anniversary this year and available throughout the RAW campaign, Sunshine Snacks – our latest limited edition high fibre snacks for small animals – are already proving to be a big hit with rabbits, guinea pigs and other small furries.
