Pooch & Mutt has expanded into functional chews with the launch of a new range featuring collagen.
The new products are available in three varieties, each formulated with beef collagen, complementary botanicals, and functional ingredients. Calm & Relaxed (110g, two chews per pack) contains 61% beef collagen, chamomile and hemp; Health & Digestion (110g, two chews per pack) features 62% beef collagen, tripe and fennel; and Primal Collagen Chews (45g, two chews per pack) is made from 70% beef collagen plus tripe and turmeric.
Dr Linda Simon, resident vet at Pooch & Mutt said: “Collagen is a key structural protein in the body and plays an important role in healthy skin, cartilage, tendons, and ligaments. For dogs, that makes it a particularly relevant ingredient when we’re thinking about joint comfort and mobility across life stages, as well as skin and coat health. As with any functional supplement or chew, it is important owners introduce it sensibly and follow feeding guidance, especially for dogs with sensitive stomachs.”
