A new dog food brand is aiming to make gains in the raw food sector with a “no frills” approach to marketing.
Meat For Dogs offers products in simple packaging containing only meat, bone and offal. The brand adopts a direct, plain-speaking tone to try to allay suspicions that raw feeding is either expensive or difficult.
The brand is positioned as an accessible option for everyday feeding, with products priced at £1.75 per 450g pack. The range includes varieties such as Beef & Chicken, Chicken & Tripe, Duck & Tripe, Lamb & Chicken, Lamb & Duck and Turkey & Lamb.
A number of independent pet retailers are already stocking the brand, and one-off orders and subscriptions are also available via the brand’s website.
