Clydach Farm has launched Mindful Years, a daily supplement powder designed to give cognitive support for senior dogs.
Mindful Years combines Magtein magnesium L-threonate, used under licence from US ingredient company ThreoTech, with Synaptelyn® a proprietary blend from Clinigol Veterinary Science, alongside phosphatidylserine, algae-derived DHA, Lcarnitine and alpha-lipoic acid.
Magtein is a patented form of magnesium developed to raise magnesium levels in the brain, and is well established in human brain-health supplements. Clydach Farm claims to be the first pet nutrition brand in Europe to license the ingredient.
The powder can sprinkled over a dog’s existing wet or dry food once a day, with feeding quantities based on body weight. It is supplied in a 250g tin, RRP £59.99.
